Titled Gracefulness, this new project is about successful, stylish and amazing people with tattoos. I start this project because I live in a very conservative towns where the habitants still consider tattooed people as thugs, lowlifes and inmates.

Hope you like it.

I always carry my headphones, or at least as often as I can. I know that at first this sounds like a contradiction to the purpose of this site, however, as one of my best friends said when we where discussing this project: “There’s never true silence, at least not in inhabited places” .

Comfortable and good sounding headphones are like portable spaces of peace. The traffic outside your house, your neighbors, your co-workers, your house appliances. However many choose to turn up the volume of their radios or set the tv in the background without even watching it, this is just additional distractions layering over an already-stressful life. We can’t cancel the external noise (unless we get a Soundproof Residence like the one by Gossens Bachman http://praiseofsilence.tumblr.com/post/25391393067/soundproof-residence-by-gossens-bachman-a) but we can create an atmosphere of stillness in our spaces. For that I always listed to Brian Eno or Bohren & der Club of Gore. Excellent choices for turning down life’s volume.

Soundproof residence by Gossens Bachman.
